July Happenings

July 3, 2019

The triple digits have finally found the southwest and the kids are out of school. I’m so looking forward to seeing all the gorgeous vacation photos on social media and daydreaming about a trip somewhere cooler. Here at The Bliss House we are very lucky to have our annual crop of apples harvested. So far I’ve made a few batches of Apple Muffins but have already gotten requests for apple pie and apple crumble so those will be soon.

May’s healthy family challenge was such a hit! I loved seeing how you all worked to incorporate healthier habits at home. I am going to carry all those great changes over into future months with small meaningful changes. You’ll see these scattered about in the great blog posts we have coming and in my social media squares and stories. Be sure to follow along to keep up the great work and find even more motivation.

Help me help you!

I am so grateful for those of you who participated in the family challenge and I’d love the opportunity to keep creating content you love and that can help your family. I’ve created a brief survey to ensure I deliver material that’s relevant to you. Please take a few minutes and complete it. Take the survey here.

Heading into the summer you likely will have more time with your kiddos and family between vacations and no school. Here are some great posts with simple meaningful tips that can make feeding your family easier: meal planning tips, cooking with kids, toddler meals, simplify, if you have a brownie for breakfast, and toddler tricks. Note lots of these are labeled for toddlers but will work for various ages.

Upcoming class: Are you sick of repeating the same 10 foods at meal time?

Want to learn how to offer healthier foods with more variety and less stress? Living with a picky eater and don’t know how to break out of the chicken nugget and applesauce pouch rut?? Join me to learn sure-fire tips and tricks to broaden your family’s diet and maintain good nutrition while you balance the different food preferences of your family.

Class is 60 minutes long, will be held on July 24 530pm at Camelback Pediatrics in Phoenix and costs $45 per family. RSVP required by 7/22/19. RSVP Here
