Here we are on day three of my little Happiness Project. My muscles are sore, and I’m already thinking of the things I haven’t done (write here recently, my sink wasn’t shined two nights ago, I didn’t exercise yesterday). I do however, have a shining sink right now. The bed is made and I accomplished my goal of getting to the gym when it opened (okay, okay, 5 minutes after it opened… still that’s 4:05AM!). I did twenty minutes on the elliptical and 25 minutes of weight lifting. I also crossed two nagging items off my list yesterday – make a wedding photobook and make a 2013 calendar for the house. I have a long list of projects or random things I’d like to do or look into- don’t you? One day, when I die, whoever is left to pick up the pieces will just laugh when they find my impressive (read:massive) stash of notes to myself. Everything from book notes to grocery lists – seriously though, there are hundreds of them lying around. Over the past few months I have tried to clean them up a bit, though admittedly this sometimes just means rewriting them. If only I could figure out this Cloud thing – then I could keep all of my notes electronic and never feel separated from them (learning more about the cloud is on my infamous list also).
Yesterday we had coq au vin (I had 1/2 pound of green beans that needed to be used so those were added to the mix during the last 5 minutes of cooking) for dinner with these delicious dinner rolls but 1 only cooked 5 rolls (2 tablespoons of butter melted plus 2 teaspoons chopped rosemary).
